Delete your account
Deleting your account is permanent and cannot be undone.
Option A: In the BuySellCy mobile app (if available)
If the mobile app is available, you can delete your account directly inside the app:
- Open the app
- Go to Profile / Settings
- Select Delete account
- Confirm the deletion
Option B: Web request (GDPR)
If you cannot access the app, you can submit a deletion request via our GDPR form: Data Request.
- Choose Data Erasure as the request type
- Use the email address (and/or phone/username) associated with your account
- Add any helpful details (e.g. profile link, what you want deleted)
What happens next?
- We may ask you to verify your identity to protect your account.
- After verification, we will process your request (including account deactivation and data erasure where applicable).
- Some records may be retained where required by law (e.g. billing, fraud prevention, dispute resolution).
